Celebration of Freedom

What are you going to do get free in 2018? What are you going to do to help others get free? January 1st not only marks the turn of the New Year, it's also the anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation. The signing of this document did not automatically free all enslaved people, but it gave them the leverage to take it for themselves. Join us in reflecting on commitments to freedom in the New Year, a group tarot reading with “Her Highness” Jordan Kathrine Lyle, and stay tuned for more! This is event is free, but donations will be accepted to compensate our facilitators for their time and skills and to support the With Love DC house.
