Join Ebone' McCloud and Andrea Clary as they share their personal experiences as black women in the wellness industry, the healing spaces they foster, and the practices that have been most useful to their own healing.
Ebone' McCloud is a healer, creator, and community leader based in Chicago, IL. She started blending and selling her loose leaf teas through her company, Good Thoughts Tea Co. in 2014, to connect people with the healing properties of herbs. In 2016 she founded The Ayaba Series, which is a sacred healing space for women of color, with the emphasis on Black women, that promotes the ability to thrive, which now holds space and fosters community for women in DC, Chicago, and LA.
Andrea Clary is a yoga teacher, speaker, and mental health/wellness educator. Meditation and yoga were life-saving tools for her, which lead her to share her experience in order to assist others in need of a safe space to explore healing practices as a result of life experience traumas, especially for black and brown communities. Andrea did not see many yoga or therapeutic resources to assist individuals in healing and recovery while she was in treatment, leading her to create Saging Grace; a wellness space promoting recovery, resilience, and empowerment through practice and lifestyle wellness.
