Goddess Circle DC

  • 825 11th Street Northeast Washington, DC, 20002 United States (map)

Please join Danielle Waldman, Heather Markowitz and Rosemary Lyly Taing for Goddess Circle on Sunday, June 10th @ 1:30pm.

We all carry around blocks in our lives that prevent us from expressing our true selves most freely. All of us are creations and we are meant to be creating. Whether you identify as an artist (or a writer, painter, dancer, photographer, etc.) or not this gathering is still for you. Come join us as we delve into an afternoon of creative recovery by exploring concepts and exercises from Julia Cameron’s 'The Artist’s Way'. This process is designed to slowly uncover these blocks and help us work through them.

We will discuss the process of The Artist’s Way and begin to identify ways in which we think about creating, living our lives as art, and the junction of creativity and spirituality.

We will end this gathering with space to explore our own creativity through painting, drawing, writing, and playing with materials. Feel free to bring any project you are currently working on or start something new!

We'll provide materials and yummy nourishing snacks! Please bring a journal and an open heart.

The exchange for this 2-hour circle is $10-$30. Space is limited, please reserve your ticket.

Doors open @ 1:00pm
Program promptly begins @ 1:30 pm
Program closes @ 3:30 pm

Please come on time! Can't wait to see you!
