Come join us for the actual beginning of a THOW (tiny house on wheels) build. Friday morning we will meet and greet, go over safety and what to expect, and then we will start building a tiny house.

The first task is insulating the bed of the trailer so we can install the subfloor. After the subfloor is on we will layout and frame the walls. Students learn as we work, pulling measurements, marking stud locations and joining in on discussions on how we decide where to put things.

As the weekend progresses we continue framing, adding in the window and door openings, sheathing the exterior, framing the roof, etc.

If you want to learn how to build a tiny house this is the way and the place to do it. We will show you which tools work the best for each task and guide you to their safe and effective use. By the end of the 3 days you will have a good taste of what building a tiny house is all about. It is a great tool for deciding if you want to build it yourself or ask for help.
