Lux Cadenza Unplugged: Maria Weissman and Dominic Martinez (Lux Cadenza) will perform a stripped-down acoustic set of their original songs. Their music comprises a mix of influences, from Regina Spektor’s imaginative storytelling to Wilco’s controlled chaos. Deep grooves and sparkling melodies for all. With special guests & opener Ari Scott.

Lux Cadenza's sound presents a blend of bluesy indie rock. The name represents exactly the feel of their music. Lux, meaning the light of music, and Cadenza, referencing an improvised passage, Lux Cadenza has fluid melodies with bouts of spontaneous vocal and instrumental riffs. Lux grew out of a creative collaboration between Maria Weissman and Dominic Martinez, who met while studying jazz in college and clicked over a shared appreciation of Dirty Projectors, Lauryn Hill, Wilco, and Tune-Yards, among other artists. Led by songwriter Weissman on vocals and keyboard, their music continues to evolve and give listeners a unique audible experience. Lux Cadenza is currently recording their first EP.
